Catches like these have been traditionally used to fasten charm bracelets. Here is a collection for you to select from
A. Small Bracelet catch £20
A small and sweet vintage bracelet catch which could be used to fasten a fine charm bracelet. It is quite a bit smaller than those you normally see as it only measures about 12 mm or 1/2 inch from the top of the loop to the base. On one side it is figured just like a padlock on the other it is stamped as silver. You open and close this catch by pressing a tiny leaver on the loop. In very good condition , it will date from circa 1970s.
B. Decorative Gold Catch £70
A really pretty decorative bracelet catch. This is the traditional padlock style which is often used on charm bracelets. The front is engraved with a swirling pattern whilst the reverse is plain except for the hallmarks which are for solid 9 carat gold and 1988. This is actually a lovely warm rose gold colour . It measures 2 cms or just over 3/4 inch high
C. Medium Silver Catch £25
This catch is 2 cms high and stamped as silver on the reverse. It is from circa 1970s.
D. Gold Charm Bracelet Catch £40
A very sweet catch suitable for your favourite charm bracelet. Fully working and measures 2 cms top to base when closed.
