A special vintage brooch in the shape of a Lizard or Newt. This brooch is from the early 1900s and is made of 800 grade silver indicating that it was made in Europe possible France or Germany. The green, red and clear stones are Paste which is a type of costume jewellery stone which was popular at the time this antique brooch was made. This Lizard brooch measures about 5 cms long

A nice vintage arts and crafts style brooch made of silver and set with a turquoise coloured stone. I am not exactly sure what the stone is but it is a real semi precious stone rather than man made. This piece of vintage jewellery can be worn either as a brooch or a pendant as it has both brooch fittings and a loop for a chain on the reverse.

 A wonderful star burst silver brooch made by Anton Michelsen of Denmark. I presume that this vintage brooch was made during the 1960s / 1970s when start busts was high fashion ( just think of the star burst clocks which were made about that time. The start and central area have a light gold tint.
