A pretty four bar gate bracelet made of nine carat gold. This bracelet fastens with a heart shaped padlock and has an attached safety chain. The bracelet measures about 8mm wide and about 19 cms long when fastened.

A rather lovely agate bracelet. This bracelet is made of banded agate beads alternating with a wide panel and two round beads. This is reminiscent of Antique Agate bracelets from the Victorian era but is actually much newer. The bracelet measures about 1.4 cms wide. At rest it measures about 6 cms internal diameter but it stretches to allow it to fir to your wrist.

It is a plain and simple bangle which you would believe to be modern in style if the hallmarks did not say different. Bracelets are excellent pieces of jewellery. You can wear one or many at the same time and wear them on one or both wrists at the same time. The Victorians wore a matching pair of bracelets one on either wrist. This is an unusual way of wearing them these days and looks great if you dont need to wear a watch.

The average bracelet measures about 18.5 cms long but you can find them longer or shorter to suit your wrist. Bracelets make a great gift as the sizing does not have to be exact. A bracelet is a flexible linked chain to go round your wrist. A bangle is harder and less flexible. Bracelets can normally be adapted to be a little shorter if you like but this is more difficult with bangles.
