A great collection of Victorian Scottish Agate hardstone brooches for you to choose from. These were made circa 1860s and the following decade or so when Queen Victoria set a trend for all things Scottish.
All are in great condition.
A. Round Shamrock Brooch
This one is a little later than the other here being fully hallmarked for 1912 - still over 100 years old now. It is about 3 cms across and features three green agates shaped as shamrock leaves. There is inscribed shamrock detail in between.
B. Large Lace Agate Brooch
This brooch is beautiful , it is set with grey and white lace agates and faux citrine stones. Its from the mid Victorian era and quite a big brooch being 2½ inches long and 2 inches wide. Complex pieces like this are most sought after.
