Condition: Generally in superb antique condition with no damage or wear to the surface. There are a couple of very minor edge nicks as can be seen in the close up photo.

Condition:Excellent antique condition with just a few very minor surface lines. The tile with the man on donkey in the foreground is in excellent condition. the other tile has a couple of minor edge nicks and a fine tight hairline running from the lower right for a couple of inches. The main surfaces of both are in excellent condition.
Condition: Excellent antique condition - There is no damage but there is an underglaze manufacturing flaw line to the lower edge

This Victorian Tiles was made by Mintons and designed by John Moyr Smith. It features the Antiquary from the Waverly Novels seriese. The Waverley Novels were written by Sir Walter Scott & this series was first exhibited in 1878.
