A super selection of antique Victorian brooches for you to choose from .These are all well over 100 years old and made from real hardstones and are in excellent condition. A. Buckle Brooch
This is nice having a buckle shaped design to the middle. It is 1½ inches across. IT looks like the catch has been replaced at some time - it is now fully functional.
B. Turquoise Flower Spray Brooch
The background agate is a mixture of clear and deep red. Over this is a floral spray set with turquoise as the flowers. This is in a silver tone frame and is 2 inches or 5 cms across. Sorry Im Sold
C. Hardstone Locket Brooch
This has a Smokey hardstone in the background and a central locket compartment with a weave of hair inside . Around this is a golden coloured band which matches the frame well. It is 1 1/2 inches wide.
D. Moss Agate Brooch
This brooch is mounted in nine carat gold. This is most likely from the very early 1900s. It measures 1 ½ inches long and 1 inch wide. The striking think is the moss agate which is really well figured
