This tile was made by Minton and Hollins and will date from the later 1800s. It measures 6 x 6 inches and is in really excellent clean condition on the front the back having a very thin wash of tile glue. Just look at the detail in the design. There are 4 cherubs surrounding the center, dolphins on the next row out and finally figures in the boxes around the edge.
