Stick Pins Lapel Pins

A quality selection of stick pins, lapel pins and tie pins mainly form the Victorian and edwardian times. These little pins are quite decorative and create a small point of interest. They are not big and showy like a brooch and are more usually worn by men than women.  Most of these lapel pins and tie pins are made of silver or gold , some have gemstones as well. I will normally send out these stick pins with an appropriate keeper/ clutch to secure the point, this is unlikely to be original to the pin but will work well.

This vintage stick pin is from the earlier 1900s. It is stamped as 15ct and set with a central diamond gemstone. The head of this stick pin measures about 1 cm diameter and this stick pin is about 5 cms long in total. This is a nice quality piece of vintage jewellery.

A really lovely antique stick pin with a floral pattern. The head of this stick pin measures about 12mm diameter and tests as nine carat gold. The stick pin measures about 6 cms long in total. This is a genuine piece of antique jewellery from the later 1800s or early 1900s.

A striking antique stick pin with a flower shaped head. The head of this pin tests as at least 18 carat gold but i not hallmarked in any way. The finial measures about 1.4 cms long and the stick pin is about 7.4 cms long is total. This is quite a sturdy piece of vintage jewellery and it will date from the later 1800s.

I believe that this stick pin is from the Georgian era with the clutch / keeper on the end being a newer piece. The stick pin is set with a foil backed rock crystal stone surrounded by a row of garnet coloured pastes. The stones all have a typical Georgian closed back setting. The head of this stick pin measures about 1.4 cms long and1.2 cms wide. Minor signs of age but nothing which will show when being worn.

A most beautiful art nouveau stick pin or lapel pin .This stick pin is in the shape of a stylised vine leaf and in the center is an aquamarine gemstone. The head of the stick pin measures about 1.5 cms long and the stick pin is a little over 67 cms long in total. This pin is not hall marked but tests as at least 15 carat gold. This stick pin will date form teh later Victorian era or the early 1900s.

A really beautiful antique art nouveau stick pin. This is made of French 18 carat gold with the Eagle head stamped onto the pin. This is the French hallmark for 18 carat. The design of this stick pin is of an art nouveau lady she has a real diamond in her hair and a necklace of three real diamonds There seems to be an artists signature on the lower left of the ladies head, it looks like a joined letters LR, RL or possibly a B . The head of this pin measures about 1.4 cms diameter and the stick pin is about 6.5 cms long in total . A really lovely piece of original art nouveau jewellery.

It tests as high carat gold about 18 carat bu is not hallmarked in any way . The head of this stick pin is large measuring about 2 cms long and a little over 1.5 cms wide. The stick pin measures about 8.5 cms long. As you can see from the second picture there is some scratching on the reverse only.

Here is a super little stick pin from the earlier 1900s. This is stamped as 9ct on the back of the finial. The final has two turquoise coloured stones and a central faux pearl. The head of the pin measures about 1.6 cms wide and the pin is about 4.8 cms long in total.

Theres a cute fox set into this stick pin. The fox has been hand painted onto glass. The head of the pin measures about 1.5 cms diameter and the pin is about 8 cms long in total. The pin is made of gold plated metal. This pin dates from the earlier 1900s or possibly the later 1800s. There is a slight amount of wear and so this has been priced accordingly.

Heres a wonderful stick pin made by Georg Jensen. This was issued in 2007 as a limited edition . It is in the shape of a tulip bud and has a real garnet gemstone set into the end. The stick pin retains its original end clutch and comes in a Georg Jensen box although I am not sure that the box is original to the stick pin. The head of this stick pin measures about 2.2 cms long and the pin is about 7.5 cms long in total.

This piece of antique jewellery is most likely from the Georgian era although is just possible very early Victorian. The stem tests as 18 carat gold and there is a paste stone set into the top with a closed setting typical of the Victorian era. Looking into the paste closely you can just see a black dot on the point of the base which is typical of Georgian jewellery. The metal immediately around the paste stone is white, most likely silver .

A lovely piece of antique art nouveau jewellery by Murrle Bennett and stamped up on both the head and the stick as MB&co also 9ct for nine carat gold. This pin is set with real turquoise. This pin could be worn as a stick pin but I think it is designed as a cravat or tie pin with the sweeping arm folding round the material . It measures about 5 cms long in total and the sweeping arms are about 2.4 cms wide ( maximum).
