 Silver charms dont come much better than this. This vintage silver charm is in the shape of a traction engine, with moving wheels and studded with red crystals. It has the impressed Nuvo makers mark and is fully hallmarked for 1972. This is the first fully hallmarked silver charm by Nuvo that I have come across.
This charm is also quite chunky measuring about 2.2 cms long and weighing about 8 grams.

The base of this Nuvo charm opens and inside is a tortoise? I wonder why?  Measuring about 16 mm high this charm dates from circa 1960s / 1970s
