Maw Majolica Tiles and Tiles Panels
During the later 1970s and the 1980s many tile panels were made under the Maw & Co name. These are mainly made in the traditional manner of hand tubelining. These tiles and pannels are highly decorative and beccoming more sought after by collectors. I have a large collection for sale - to be added gradually over the next few weeks

From the Maw & co range of Majolica hand tube lined tiles - this features a Game Keeper. It is set into a wooden frame. It appears that Maw made a whole series of these Victorian street characters.

Condition: Unfortunately the top tile is cracked through but it is held firmly in the frame and still displays well, a little scuffing to the frame.

Here is a Maw tile panel dating from the 1970s with a design that I have not seen before. This lovely lady is wearing a smart Edwardian dress. Just look at the tube lined detail - this is one of the best quality of these panels I have seen. Each tile is 8 x 8 inches and there are two tiles in the panel.
