One of the very rarest pieces of vintage costume jewellery .This vintage butterfly brooch is set with Iris Diamante in various shapes and sizes - some are closed back and some are open. The diamante which forms the central part of the body appears on first glance to be clear but on close inspection it is a paler Iris shade.

 A highly decorative brooch with clear crystal diamante and faceted green glass beads. This brooch is in the shape of a wreath and on the back it is stamped " Austria" which is where the best crystal is made.

This costume Jewellery brooch measures about 5 cms long. The diamante are prong set and with the angle the beads are set at this brooch has a 3d effect rather than being flat. I guess this dates 1950s to 1970s and is in really excellent condition.

 A large and sparkling vintage costume jewellery brooch made by Sphinx, Sphinx is a quality and collectable name in vintage costume jewellery . They made jewellery between the 1940s and up until the later 1990s. This brooch will be from between the 1960s and 1970s and it is huge measuring about 9 cms long.

This Spinx Brooch is made of gold tone metal and is set with diamante. One of the diamante is dull at one end otherwise this vintage brooch is in really excellent condition.

 Here are two lovely old vintage costume jewellery brooches. These are both made of gold toned metal and will date from circa 1930s to 1950s. The single flower brooch has and Iris diamante in the center. Iris diamante are clear glass stones with a pink and blue stripe, this measures about 8 cms long.

The flower brooch with aquamarine coloured glass diamante measures about 7.5 cms long. Both brooches are in good condition.

Two super vintage brooches set with the sought after Iris diamante. These diamante have a red, blue and green stripe in them. The diamante are prong set and both have a floral design. The longer brooch measures about 7 cms long and the shorter one measures about 4.5 cms long.

 Here are two gold toned leaf brooches from circa 1930s / 1940s. There is one brooch set with 5 blue glass stones and another set with a central red glass stone. The vintage brooch with 5 blue stones measures about 10.5 cms long and the red stone brooch measures about 7.8 cms long.

Both of the blue stone costume jewellery brooch fastens with a simple C catch. The red stone brooch has a safety pin type fastening.

This brooch is made of wooden beads attached with wire to a metal background.  Pieces similar were made by the famous costume jeweller Miriam Haskell although I have no proof that this piece was made by her. This brooch dates from circa 1930s to 1950s and measures up to 5 cms diameter.

A superb piece of vintage costume jewellery. This gilt metal brooch will date from circa 1930s and is in as new condition, I doubt that it has ever been worn. The brooch was most likely made in Czechoslovakia, it is set with glass stones. This vintage brooch measures just over 5 cms long .
