An unusual vintage brooch made of gold toned metal in the form of a bunch of flowers. This measures about 5 x 3 cms and is in really excellent condition. It dates from circa 1940s

 Here is  a good pair of vintage costume jewellery brooches both of which date from the 1930s and will most likely have been made in Czechoslovakia. These brooches are both made of filigree metal and set withe glass stones.  These brooches both measure about 5.5 cms long

 A stunning pair of vintage brooches made of pink moon glow Lucite and dating from the 1950s. The brooches have moon glow Lucite beads and also matching pink aurora borealis beads. Each brooch has multiple tassels hanging down. These brooches measure up to 7 cms long and will make a real statement when worn especially if you wear both together.

 This large butterfly brooch is in art nouveau style and is set with sparkling crystal stones. This is not new but it is quite a modern piece of jewellery coming complete in its original box. The brooch measures up to 7 cms wide and so is quite a showy piece of jewellery.

 A highly decorative brooch with clear crystal diamante and faceted green glass beads. This brooch is in the shape of a wreath and on the back it is stamped " Austria" which is where the best crystal is made.

This costume Jewellery brooch measures about 5 cms long. The diamante are prong set and with the angle the beads are set at this brooch has a 3d effect rather than being flat. I guess this dates 1950s to 1970s and is in really excellent condition.

 This brooch is made bakelite and chromed metal. This is an unusual piece of vintage costume jewellery and will date from circa 1940s. The brooch fastens on the back with a safety pin type catch . Quite a large brooch measuring about 9.8 cms long

 A vintage gold tone pendant brooch in the shape of a bow and with a pink crystal pendant drop. This dates from the early 1900s. The bow measures up to 3.8 cms wide and in total this piece of vintage costume jewellery measures up t0 5.25 cms long. There are minor signs of age to this piece of vintage jewellery but it is around 100 years old.

 A very unusual piece of vintage jewellery. Here are two penguin brooches joined by a double chain to make a cardigan clip. Cardigan clips are not something we often see these days, one brooch is pinned on either edge of a cardigan to keep it on but not fastened.

These penguin brooches are made of gold toned metal, one penguin measures about 4.5 cms high the other 4 cms.  There is a little age related patina to the metal but as these date from circa 1920s to 1940s that is to be expected.

 This vitnage costume jewellery brooch was made by Trifari and has the Trifari makers mark stamped into the back with a crown over the letter T. This brooch has a swirl shape and a 3d appearance perhaps its meant to be a flower. This brooch measures a little over 5 cms diameter.

 A nice diamante brooch with prong set diamante which have open foiled backs. This is a lovely vintage brooch measuring about 6 cms long, despite its age it is in as new condition and so would make an excellent addition to any vintage jewellery collection

 A nice butterfly brooch dating from circa 1960s. This brooch is set with glass diamante stones most having an aurora borealis. There is an attached safety chain. This brooch measures about 4.8 cms wide and it is a lovely old piece of vintage costume jewellery.

 This pretty Kitty is wearing a heart shaped necklace of her own. This cat brooch is newer than the jewellery I normally offer on AntiquesAvenue however this is so very lovely that I am sure someone would love to own her. Kitty is set with sparkling diamante which have an Aurora Borealis finish. The heart pendant round her neck has a Rose Gold colour with matching stones.

This cat brooch measures about 6 cms high.

 Here's a cute piece of costume jewellery just for fun. This brooch is in the shape of a dragon with red enamel back and eyes. This dragon brooch is set with diamante and it measures about 6 cms long. This would look great worn on a darker piece of clothing such as a black jacket.

 A beautiful enamel brooch in the shape of a bunch of Primroses. This brooch was made by Exquisite and has their name on the reverse, I believe that this brooch dates from the 1950s or 1960s and is from their Birthday series.  The bunch of Primroses brooch would be for February.  What fun to collect all 12 in this series and to wear them during the appropriate month.
