Vintage accessories are very collectable today. A stunning vintage enamel powder compact - this has blue enamel on the back and around the edge whilst the lid has a central panel with an enameled country scene. The enamel is in really excellent condition. Open the lid and inside is a sifter compartment for your powder and  a mirror inside the lid. The mirror has lost silvering from the back but the glass is not broken in any way. This compact will date from circa 1920s / 1930s. It measures about 6 cms diameter

 With full silver hallmarks for 1919, this miniature compact shows the beginnings of art deco design tith the straight line engraving. There are the initials HH on the lid. The compact measures about 3.1 cms diameter and weighs about 6.6 grams

 A cute vintage silver compact which is fully hallmarked and dates from 1918. This compact also has the impressed makers mark Alle. It has a small o ring attached so that it could have been worn from a chatelaine or finger ring. It measures about 3.2 cms diameter

 A lovely old silver compact . This compact has detailed engraving on the lid. It opens to show a mirror and its original puff and sifter inside This silver compact comes complete in its original fabric pouch.
The compact is impressed BIRKS sterling. I believe that Birks are one of Canadas leading silver smiths.
This compact measures about 6 cms diameter.

This vintage dress accessory is in excellent condition

 A lovely vintage compact made by Stratton and Wedgwood. This compact has never been used . The compact its self is marked as Stratton and the inset Wedgwood Jasper Cameo would have been made by Wedgwood and there is an accompanying leaflet about the decoration by Wedgwood.

The decorative scene is Paul Revere's Ride. The compact comes in its original black felt pouch and it measures about 8.5 cms diameter.
