AntiquesAvenue offers a good range of vintage Caithness glass paperweights:
Caithness Glass is based in Scotland, production began in the 1960s but very few paperweights were produced until the 1970s. I first encountered Caithness paperweights during shopping sprees with my Mother during the early 1970s and have been fascinated by them ever since. Most of the weights available at that time had a modern Space theme and these abstract shapes and bubbles were unlike anything I had ever seen before. Clearly many others agree and the popularity of Caithnees glass paperweights has grown so that they are one of the largest paperweight producers in the world.

Excellent clean condition. Looking carefully I can see 2 reasons why this was classified as a seconds 1) there is a mistake in the etching of the flowers around the edge ( see photo) 2) internally there is an extra piece of white glass in the pond at the base.
This white flower paperweight was made by Caithness glass in Scotland it has their CIIG seconds mark on the base although I can see no reason why this should not be a first quality paperweight. This glass paperweight measures about 8 cms diameter and is in excellent condition.
Due to the weight of this item I will need to charge an extra £5 for postage outside of the UK
