Caithness glass Dragonfly paperweight 1975 C Terris
Before going any further I must say that this paperweight is a seconds with the CIIG mark on the base. I believe it to be Dragonfly designed in 1975 by Colin Terris . The perfect examples were in a limited edition of 1500. The dragon fly has green tips to his wings and a bubble for his body, he hovers over a mauve coloured pond with etched flower shapes around the outside of the base.

Excellent clean condition. Looking carefully I can see 2 reasons why this was classified as a seconds 1) there is a mistake in the etching of the flowers around the edge ( see photo) 2) internally there is an extra piece of white glass in the pond at the base.
