Here is an incredibly rare tile. Made by Bourne Denby and dating from the 1930s - I think it is probably from the Nursery Ware range. What a fascinating piece for collectors of Denby and 20th century tiles.
This is slightly larger and thinker than the normal 6 inch tiles made in the 20th century It measures 6.5 x 6.5 inches and is up to 0.75 inch deep ( to top of edge decoration).
There pie crust edging does have some damage but this is such a rare piece that it still makes a wonderful buy. There is the Bourne Denby makers stamp on the back.
