Here are some wonderful examples of genuine art nouveau tiles. Collecting art nouveau tiles is a wonderful way obtaining a real piece of art nouveau historical design at a reasonable price. They make an excellent display when placed together in a gallery on a wall. Most of these tiles have majolica glazes which remain as bright and colourful as the day they were made.
A very bold art nouveau blue flower tile dating from the early 1900s and made by A Meakin with the full makers backgrid. This tile measures about 6 x 6 inches.
