An unusual piece of Victorian Jewellery - This pendant is made of a hardstone with a snake skin kind of effect in the stone. One side has applied gold lettering. This pendant is quite substantial measuring about 5 x 3.5 cms plus bails. It would most likely have been originally worn suspended from a velvet or silk ribbon - something which could easily be copied today for that genuine antique feel.
