Antique Brooches

This measures about 6.5 cms long and 1.5 cms deep and so it is quite a large and impressive piece of antique jewellery. The back fastens with a simple C catch.
I think that is is likely that this was made from a larger piece of jewellery during the Victorian era. It is in quite wearable condition.

 This Mizpah brooch is antique Victorian. It is made of fully hallmarked sterling silver and can be dated to 1893. It is an unusual Mizpah having a double crescent shape with flowers in one half. It measures about 4.5 cms wide. Look at the extended pin stem as well, how typically Victorian.

Dating from the Victorian era, this lapel pin has a secret. you can remove the front of the pin and behind is a tiny compartment just big enough for a tiny piece of a lovers hair.
